Aid Stations: Great spots for groups. Show off your group pride with a theme, signs, music or costumes. Make it yours and make it fun! Duties include:
- Setting up the station.
- Filling and stacking cups with water and Gatorade.
- Handing beverages to athletes.
- Cleaning up the area.
Finish Line Support: This is another great spot for groups, individuals, and families to greet participants as they cross the finish line with food, water, and medals.
Start Line Support: Help runners start the race right by assisting them to the starting area.
Gear Check: Greet runners and assist with overseeing gear check on race day.
Floater: Help with whatever shifts need extra attention on race day. Flexibility and patience are needed as you will receive your assignment upon arrival Saturday morning.
Expo Setup: On the Thursday before the race, help the Hospital Hill Run team organize merchandise, volunteer shirts, athlete bibs, gifts, and more for the Health and Fitness Expo.
Packet Pickup: On the Friday before the race, you will welcome athletes to the Health and Fitness Expo, look up, and hand out bib numbers plus t-shirts at packet pickup. Volunteers need to be comfortable using technology, multi-tasking, and interacting with our athletes.
Merchandise: Help sell Hospital Hill Run merchandise during the Health and Fitness Expo. Volunteers need to be comfortable with using technology, multi-tasking, and interacting with our athletes.
